- Overview of the TOEFL Primary®、TOEFL Junior® Tests
The TOEFL iBT ® test is one of the most widely known and respected English-language assessments in the world.
As the population of young English-language learners has grown in Japan, the popularity of the TOEFL Junior ® Standard test, launched in 2011, and the TOEFL Primary ® test launched in 2014, has grown as well.
The purpose of these assessments is to measure how well students use their English-language skills in each of the following skills; Reading, Language Form and Meaning, Listening, and Speaking for the TOEFL Junior ® tests and Reading, Listening, and Speaking for the TOEFL Primary ® tests.
The TOEFL Primary ® tests also come in 2 levels of proficiency, Step 1 and Step 2, so that you can select an assessment that more closely matches the skills your students have acquired.
ETS is the world’s largest private educational testing and measurement organization that develops, administers, and scores more than 50 million tests including the TOEFL ® and TOEIC ® tests annually in more than 180 countries.
The two executives from ETS speak about the strengths and future vision of the TOEFL ® tests.
